Senior Indian cricketer KL Rahul can’t play in the third Test against England. He hurt his leg before and didn’t recover fully. So, he missed the last match in Visakhapatnam, and now he’s out of this one too. Devdutt Padikkal, a good player from Karnataka, will take his place.

The cricket board said KL Rahul is almost ready, but not completely. He’s trying hard to be fit again with the help of doctors. He’ll keep getting better at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. He might be fit for the fourth and fifth Tests. Right now, the series is tied at one win each. Before, they picked both KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja for the team, but only if the doctors said they were okay to play. Padikkal has been doing well this season. In his last match, he scored 151 runs, and the head selector saw him play.

But there needs to be a solution to how injured players are being handled. Some players seem to be hiding their injuries, and it’s confusing. If Rahul was so hurt, why did they keep him in the team at first? And why is he showing videos of himself playing cricket if he’s not fit? Another player said he was hurt, but nobody knows if it’s true because the board said nothing about it.

As for the team, if Jadeja plays, it might be hard to pick the right players. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav have been playing well, and there’s also a question about who will be the wicketkeeper.
