Some people switch jobs during their careers, but it doesn’t mean they’re confused. Instead, they’re brave enough to take chances to achieve their dreams.

One such motivating story is about Anupama Anjali, an IAS officer from the 2018 batch.

Anupama is from Delhi. She finished school there and then studied mechanical engineering. Her father, who has worked for the government for 37 years, is an IPS officer.

After graduating, Anupama started preparing for the UPSC exam. Her father supported her a lot during this time. She didn’t pass on her first try but didn’t give up. On her second attempt in 2017, she succeeded, securing the 386th rank and becoming an IAS officer.

She was assigned to the Andhra Pradesh Cadre after completing training at LBSNAA. Her first job was as a Joint Collector in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh.

In 2023, Anupama married Harshit Kumar, also an IAS officer from the 2020 batch. After marriage, Anupama was transferred to the Haryana cadre. Currently, she serves as the ADC in Bhiwani.
