Sachin Dhas and captain Uday Saharan were the main players for India in their big 132-run win over Nepal. They both scored a lot of runs, helping India reach a strong total of 297/5. India then bowled well, restricting Nepal to 165/9. India now has eight points and will play South Africa next.

Nepal started well but lost wickets quickly. Saumy Pandey took four wickets for India. Nepal’s last pair, Aakash Chand and Durgesh Gupta, added some runs at the end.

Before Pandey’s wickets, Raj Limbani got a wicket for India. Nepal’s batting struggled, and they lost wickets regularly. Their captain, Dev Khanal, tried hard but couldn’t save the game. India had some trouble with an injury to their wicketkeeper, so Innesh Mahajan had to replace him.
