Beginning the UPSC Journey (2016–2017)

Amrit gave his first UPSC attempt in 2016. With no proper preparation, he didn’t clear it. But instead of quitting, he took it as a lesson.

In 2017, he tried again and just missed the cutoff in prelims by 0.66 marks, a heartbreak, but also a motivator.

Refined Strategy and First Success (2018)

Learning from his mistakes, Amrit changed his approach. He avoided coaching and focused completely on self-study. He practiced with more than 140 mock tests, building confidence and accuracy.

In 2018, his hard work paid off, and he got selected for the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) through the reserve list.

Climbing Higher with Better Ranks (2019–2020)

In 2019, Amrit pushed again and secured AIR 321, a solid achievement. But he wasn’t satisfied. He aimed for the top ranks.

In 2020, he cracked it with AIR 96, making him eligible for higher services like IAS or IPS, depending on preferences and vacancies.

Joining the Indian Police Service (2021)

In 2021, Amrit cracked UPSC again, securing AIR 179, and this time he chose the Indian Police Service (IPS) as his career path.

He entered one of the most respected services in India, where officers play a key role in law enforcement and public safety.
