He has received the President’s Gallantry Medal(Highest Honour in Police) 11 times, the most times anyone has ever received. He was also awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his contribution towards the service by the then president Kovind. DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav has an impressive record for successful convictions in terror-related cases. Out of the 44 cases that he has been involved in, 32 have reached a judgment in his favor.
