Following India’s impressive 106-run victory in Visakhapatnam, the burning question on every Indian fan’s mind is whether Virat Kohli will return for the final three matches against England. The curiosity arose after AB de Villiers, Kohli’s close friend, and South African cricket legend, disclosed that Virat and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting their second child.

Despite the revelation, India’s head coach Rahul Dravid remained tight-lipped about Kohli’s availability for the rest of the series, deferring the decision to the selectors.

Virat had opted out of the first two Tests in Hyderabad, citing personal reasons. He emphasized that certain family matters demanded his undivided attention, despite representing the country being his top priority.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) urged fans and media to avoid speculating on Virat’s absence, though rumors circulated that it could be linked to his mother’s health. Virat’s brother, Vikas, later clarified the situation on social media.

The revelation led to widespread speculation about Virat’s participation in the remaining Tests against England. However, Dravid refrained from providing a definitive answer when questioned by reporters in Vizag, maintaining the suspense. He suggested that the selectors would be best positioned to address this matter and hinted at discussions with Virat in the coming days.
