Harris Faulkner’s journey in the media world began as a freelance business writer for LA Weekly, She then stepped into television through an internship at KCOP-TV in Los Angeles, handling small tasks. Her career then took her to Greenville, North Carolina, where she worked as a reporter and anchor at WNCT-TV.
From 1992 to 2000, Faulkner served as an evening anchor at Kansas City’s WDAF-TV. However, during her time in Kansas City, she faced a distressing experience of harassment and stalking by someone from her past who had followed her from North Carolina.
