India has been really good in the Under-19 World Cup for boys, winning it five times before. Some of our best young cricket players got their start in this tournament. Now, a new team from India, led by Uday Saharan, is trying to win the title again. They want to make it six victories by playing against Bangladesh first in the 2024 tournament in South Africa.
The matches are divided into groups, and India is in Group A. They will play against Bangladesh, Ireland, and the USA. The tournament was supposed to be in Sri Lanka, but it got moved to South Africa by the ICC.
If India does well in their group matches, they’ll go to the Super Sixes round. The top three teams from each group will go there. After that, the semifinals will be on February 6 and 8, and the final will be on February 11 in Benoni.
