Although young Jiya Sharma’s Anchoring experience is enough to list her among the veterans. She started off her career with Doordarshan in the year 2012, where she worked for like six months, from where she participated in an Anchor Hunting competition, held by IBC24 called the “Khoj ek anchor ki” and after winning that competition she went on to work with IBC24 News as a News Anchor.

From there she went to work with Bansal News a local channel in Bhopal and got a break as a Radio Jockey on Red FM in the year 2017.

She worked as a Radio Jockey for like five months as she immediately got her big break from Zee Media Corporation. She worked with Zee Media as a News anchor for four years and in the September of 2021 she joined ABP news, she has been working there for more than a year and hosts the morning show “Namaste Bharat”.
