TV anchor Jyotsna Bedi has concluded her tenure at the ‘Republic Bharat‘ channel. She had been associated with the channel since its launch but has now embarked on a new journey with the ‘Times Now’ channel. At ‘Times Now’, she will undertake the role of a correspondent and anchor.
Jyotsna, who has been actively involved in the media industry for nearly nine years, previously worked as a producer and anchor at ‘News24‘ before joining ‘Republic Bharat’. This marked her second stint with ‘News24’.
During her previous tenure at ‘News24’, which began on December 1, 2014, she spent approximately two and a half years with the channel. She hosted a two-hour morning news bulletin called ‘Jago India,’ along with one-hour special shows such as ‘Kalchakra’ (an astrology-based show) and ‘Sanjivani’ (a health show). Additionally, she appeared in the General News Bulletin.
Prior to ‘News24’, Jyotsna also served as an anchor and associate producer at the ZEE Media Group’s ‘ZEE Hindustan’. Her shows ‘BSF Ki Commando Betiyaan’ and ‘Taqat Watan Ki Humse Hai’ on ‘ZEE Hindustan’ gained significant popularity.
From May 2017, she was associated with ZEE Media, where she contributed to the group’s other channels, namely ‘ZEE Rajasthan’ and ‘ZEE Bihar-Jharkhand’, in addition to ‘ZEE Hindustan, during her one-year tenure.
