Kajal Aggarwal started acting with a small role in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na….
Her first Telugu film as a lead actress was Lakshmi Kalyanam (2007).
In the same year, she got wider attention with the Telugu film Chandamama (2007).
