Menon became popular for playing lead roles in early Tamil hits like Sundarapandian (2012), which helped her get a strong fan base in a short time.

Lakshmi Menon made her screen debut in 2011 with the Malayalam film Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya.

In 2012, she entered Tamil cinema with Sundarapandian, where she acted with M. Sasikumar and Vijay Sethupathi.

In the same year, Menon appeared in Kumki with Vikram Prabhu.

In 2013, she worked again with M. Sasikumar in Kutti Puli.

In the same year, Menon acted in Pandiya Naadu with Vishal.

In 2014, she acted in Naan Sigappu Manithan with Vishal again.

Menon also appeared in 2015’s Komban with Karthi.
