Carolyn MacKenzie began her television career as the host of Toronto Living on Rogers Television.

She later worked in Sydney, Nova Scotia, at ATV/CTV News, doing multiple roles like videographer, reporter, camera operator, and editor. After that, she worked in Barrie, Ontario, at New VR as a reporter and anchor.

In 2005, she joined Global News in Toronto. She has covered major stories and public events, including Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee Visit and reports linked to the Toronto terror suspects.

Along with hard news, she has also done celebrity interviews and special coverage, including traveling to the UK to report on the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan (as listed in her Global TV profile).
