Aashka Goradia, a well-known TV actress, took a bold step by leaving her acting career in 2019 to start a new business. She, along with her college friends Ashutosh Valani and Priyank Shah, launched Renee Cosmetics in 2020. The company became a big success, making 100 million dollars in just two years.
In an interview, Priyank Shah mentioned that they aim to make 400 crore rupees in revenue by the fiscal year 2024. Aashka, now the Director and CMO of the company, handles products, marketing, and communications.

The company, based in Ahmedabad, raised 25 million dollars last year, and its valuation is now 100 million dollars. They offer 200 beauty products, which you can find on popular platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and Myntra, as well as in 650+ stores. Renee Cosmetics is giving tough competition to Nykaa and Sugar with its impressive revenue.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Aashka Goradia had a successful TV career starting in 2002. She acted in various shows like Achanak 37 Saal Baad, Kkusum, Akela, Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Mere Apne, and Virrudh. Known for her negative roles, she also participated in reality shows. Her last significant acting role was in Daayan in 2019.
