Some folks dream of getting a big paycheck abroad. If they get the chance, they won’t say no. But there are also stories of people who left their fancy jobs in other countries to start businesses in India.

They’re the ones who want to be their bosses and find their ways to succeed. One such person is Albinder Dhindsa, who went to IIT Delhi and left his well-paying job in America to start a company that changed how we deliver stuff in India.

Albinder, who started Grofers (now known as Blinkit), grew up in Patiala, Punjab. After finishing at IIT Delhi, he went to work in America in 2005. He later left his job, got an MBA, and returned to India.

Back in India, he joined Zomato for a while. Then, he saw a big opportunity in delivering things to people’s homes. He teamed up with his friend Saurabh Kumar and started a business.
