The UPSC exam is one of the most challenging tests globally. Many students work hard to pass it and become IAS, IFS, or IPS officers. Millions of people try to take the exam, but only a few succeed each year. Today, we’ll talk about an inspiring IAF officer, Ambika Raina, who overcame difficulties to become an IAS officer.

Ambika Raina is from Jammu and Kashmir, and her father is a Major General in the Indian Army. She attended schools in different states due to her father’s job. After finishing school, she studied architecture at CEPT University in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In her final year, she got internship offers from a company in Zurich and other job offers.

Despite having lucrative job offers, Ambika chose to prepare for the UPSC exam. It was tough for her because she didn’t have a humanities background, affecting her confidence. However, she didn’t give up. With hard work and dedication, Ambika cracked the UPSC exam in 2022, securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 164.

Reportedly, she passed the world’s second-toughest recruitment exam on her third attempt.
