Meet the composer of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan Prevue’s “iconic” soundtrack.
Shah Rukh Khan has made his fans happy by releasing the trailer for his forthcoming film Jawan. Internet users appreciated Anirudh Ravichander, the film’s music composer, as well as the actor’s good looks and action-packed role.
The classical dancer Lakshmi Ravichander and actor Ravi Raghavendra are the parents of Anirudh Ravichander. Being the nephew of Latha Rajnikanth, he is also related to South Indian superstar Rajnikanth, making Aishwarya, Spundarya, and Hrishikesh his cousins. Additionally, Krishnaswami Subrahmanyam, a director, was his great-grandfather.
2011 saw the graduation of the Indian singer, songwriter, and music producer from Loyola College in Chennai. Later, he studied piano at London’s Trinity College of Music and played in a fusion band.

In his cousin Aishwarya R. Dhanush’s feature film debut 3, which stars Dhanush, Anirudh made his music composition debut. He composed the music for short films directed by his cousin Aishwarya while still a student at Loyola College. Why This Kolaveri Di by Dhanush was his debut hit song. Due to the lyrics being in Tanglish, the song immediately gained popularity. Additionally, he introduced the rapper’s Yo Yo Honey Singh and Hiphop Tamizha in his Sivakarthikeyan-starring album Ethir Neechal. Aside from Irandam Ulagam, Anirudh has also written music for Maari, Kaaki Sattai, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, and more.
Anirudh has collaborated with a number of A-list celebrities, such as Rajnikanth, Vijay, Dhanush, and Kamal Haasan. He has composed the score for Vijay in films like Master, Beast, and others. He wrote the song Pathala Pathala for the movie Vikram starring Kamal Haasan, and he also did the score for the actor’s next film Indian 2.
With Atlee’s Jawan, Anirudh is finally prepared to make his official Bollywood debut. Anirudh was chosen to write the music for Shah Rukh Khan’s movie when A.R. Rahman declined Atlee’s offer to do so. He is also writing the music for Rajnikanth’s 169th film, Jailer, which stars Rajnikanth and Vijay, Leo. Additionally, he will be writing the music for Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s role in Koratala Siva’s Devara.
