Becoming successful in the tough entertainment industry is not easy for everyone. There’s a Bollywood actress from the mid-1980s and early 1990s who messed up her career because of her anger. Despite her first movie not doing well, there was a time when every actor wanted to work with her.

This actress is Tabu’s older sister, Farah Naaz. She used to be a top actress in the industry. Farah started her Bollywood journey long before her sister Tabu entered the scene.

Farah Naaz made her Bollywood debut in Yash Chopra’s movie called Faasle, but it didn’t do well at the box office. Even though the first film flopped, she still got many offers and acted in several hits like Marte Dam Tak, Naseeb Apna Apna, Love 86, Imaandaar, Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani, Diljalaa, Rakhwala, Woh Phir Aayegi, Veeru Dada, Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri, and Begunaah. Unfortunately, her anger issues later caused problems in her successful career.

During the shooting of Kasam Vardi Ki, Farah Naaz got upset with Chunky Pandey because he cracked a joke while filming a scene together. She didn’t like the joke and angrily slapped Chunky. This incident created a lot of gossip in the Bollywood town, and Farah even threatened to harm Chunky Pandey in a magazine interview, causing controversy in the industry.

Not only that, Farah Naaz once threatened Anil Kapoor. In 1989, while working on the movie Rakhwala with Anil Kapoor, she got wind that he wanted to replace her with Madhuri Dixit. Farah didn’t let that happen and even threatened both Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. She publicly shamed Anil Kapoor and refused to do the film because of him.

After delivering hits like Woh Phir Aayegi and Begunaah with Rajesh Khanna, Farah Naaz married Dara Singh’s son and actor Vindu Dara Singh. However, the couple divorced in 2002. Later, she married Bollywood and television actor Sumeet Saigal in 2003.

Both Farah and Sumeet quit acting and now run a multi-crore company named Sumit Art, investing in Bollywood films. Farah left the film industry, but her sister Tabu is still a big name in Bollywood. She recently starred in hits like Drishyam 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, continuing to impress the audience with her acting skills.
