Actor Jugal Hansraj started his Bollywood journey as a child artist in movies like ‘Masoom’ and later hit the big screen with ‘Aa Gale Lag Jaa’. He gained love and fame from the audience when he was a kid. As he grew up, he became a lead actor and rocked the box office. People thought he would become a big Bollywood star. But suddenly, something happened that ruined his career in one go.
Jugal Hansraj was famous in Bollywood right from the start. When he became a lead actor, he became even more popular. His movie ‘Papa Kehte Hain’ in 1995 boosted his career.
Then, he starred in hit films like ‘Mohabbatein’ (2000), ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ (2001), and ‘Salaam Namaste’ (2005). Everyone thought he would be the next big thing in Bollywood. But his luck changed, and he disappeared from the screen unexpectedly.
Reports say he didn’t vanish but was busy shooting many films, which eventually harmed his career. He had so many film offers that he couldn’t handle them all. He signed up for around 40 films with different directors and producers. He worked on them continuously, which kept him away from the screen for years.
However, many of these films got stuck. Some stopped midway, some never started, and a few were shelved. Jugal focused on these films during the peak of his career, causing him to fade away from Bollywood. Though he appeared in a film every now and then, he never reached the stardom everyone expected. Jugal Hansraj, the younger son of cricketer Pravin Hansraj, married Jasmine Dhillon, an NRI investment banker from New York, in July 2014. They have a son named Sidak.
