Graduates and postgraduates in India are getting better job offers these days. Earlier, only students from top colleges like IIT, IIM, and VIT used to get high salaries.
Now, even students from other colleges are getting good offers. For example, Rashi Bagga from the International Institute of Information Technology Naya Raipur got a job with a salary of Rs 85 lakh per year in 2023.
But did you know, this isn’t the highest salary offered at IIIT-NR? The highest was Rs 1 crore per year, which Kushashwa Ravi Shrimali got in 2020 from a US company. However, he couldn’t join because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kushashwa studied at IIIT-NR from 2016 to 2020 and got a grade of 9.4 out of 10. He was a top student and won a gold medal. He did internships at Big Vision, Nvidia, and Care.ai.

After graduation, he worked at Quansight and Lightning AI. Since 2022, he’s been working at Abnormal Security as a Software Engineer. He got a Rs 1 crore per year offer from a US company, but couldn’t join due to COVID-19.
