Parul Sharma, a highly accomplished professional with a wealth of experience as a communication strategist who has held significant roles at renowned corporations, has been appointed as the Group President of Reliance Group, led by Anil Ambani.
Effective from June 20th, Parul Sharma has assumed the role of Group President at Reliance Group, under the leadership of Anil Ambani. With a strong background in holding pivotal positions at prominent corporations and extensive expertise as a communication strategist, Parul Sharma brings valuable experience to this new role.
As per media reports, Tony Jesudasan, a longstanding representative of Reliance Group for four decades, has been succeeded by Parul Sharma following the unfortunate passing of Tony Jesudasan in February 2023. Going forward, Parul Sharma will assume the role of representing Reliance ADA Group.
Who is Parul Sharma?
Parul Sharma has played a significant role in shaping the communications strategy for “Star India,” under the leadership of Rupert Murdoch, for over 15 years. Her expertise has had a profound impact on the public relations efforts, stakeholder relationships, and overall corporate image of the company. Prior to her tenure at “Star India,” Parul Sharma had valuable experience working with the Cologne-based German broadcaster, “Deutsche Welle.”
After departing from Star in 2017, she made a deliberate shift to focus on photography and swiftly gained recognition in the field. She has become renowned for her international exhibitions, where she skillfully captures the interplay between architecture, urban landscapes, and the human form. Notably, her work documenting the Kumbh Mela was showcased in 2019 at the prestigious Marino Marini Public Museum in Florence.

In 2020, she released her book titled “Dialects of Silence,” which poignantly chronicles the hardships faced by migrants and the devastating impact of the Covid pandemic. According to Zee Business, another book titled “Colaba” is expected to be published later this year, further expanding her artistic contributions.
