Rambha, the Bollywood actress who rose to stardom in the Indian film industry, achieved remarkable success after collaborating with the megastar Salman Khan in movies like Judwaa and Bandhan. However, she has been absent from the glamour industry for an extended period of time.
Rambha’s final movie appearance was in a Malayalam film titled “Filmstar” in 2011, and since then she has not been involved in any film projects. Choosing to depart from the film industry at the height of her career, Rambha married a businessman named Indrakumar Pathmanathan, who resides in Canada. Their wedding took place on April 8, 2010, following which Rambha relocated to Toronto. Currently, she is a mother of three children—two daughters and one son.
Despite her absence from the film industry, Rambha remains actively engaged on Instagram, frequently sharing her photos and videos with her followers on social media.

Rambha’s acting career spans across various film industries, including Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Bhojpuri, and even English films. In Bollywood, she has appeared in notable movies such as Judwaa, Gharwali Baharwali, Bandhan, Krodh, Beti No 1, Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, and Pyaar Diwana Hota Hai. Her versatility has allowed her to showcase her talent in a wide range of languages and genres.
Rambha, originally named Vijayalakshmi, was born on June 5 in Vijayawada. During her time in Class 7, she took part in her school’s Annual Day tournament, portraying the role of Goddess Ammavaru. Director Hariharan happened to be in attendance and maintained contact with Rambha, eventually offering her an acting opportunity in the Malayalam film Sargam. This marked the beginning of her acting career.
