Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s performance on Oo Antava reportedly earned her a staggering Rs 5 crore for the three-minute song.

Telugu film superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently made headlines with news of her year-long break from movies. She will be traveling to the US for treatment and to prioritize her health. Reports state that Samantha Ruth Prabhu has not signed any new projects and is returning advance payments to producers.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently one of the most popular actresses in the country. Her fame skyrocketed after the success of the song Oo Antava (Oo Solriya in Tamil) from Allu Arjun’s blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise. Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s performance in the song earned her a whopping Rs 5 crore for just three minutes, making her the highest-paid actress in the country.

According to an IWMBUZZ report, Allu Arjun convinced Samantha Ruth Prabhu to perform the song, for which she charged a hefty Rs 5 crore. A source revealed, “She demanded a high price for the Oo Antava dance number. Initially, she had reservations, but Allu Arjun personally persuaded her. They had to pay her nearly Rs 5 crores for the 3-minute dance sequence. While she had some concerns about certain dance moves, she eventually embraced the rhythm and did not request any changes.”

The song Oo Antava is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and the Telugu version is sung by Indravathi Chouhan. Pushpa: The Rise, released on December 17, earned over Rs 300 crore at the box office.
