Satyam Kumar’s journey to success in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is nothing short of remarkable. Hailing from a farmer’s family in Bihar, Kumar’s dedication and hard work led him to secure an All India Rank (AIR) of 670 in the IIT-JEE in 2013, making him the youngest Indian to crack the exam at the age of 13.
Kumar’s journey began when he appeared for the JEE in 2012 at the age of 12, achieving AIR 8,137 in his first attempt. Undeterred by the initial result, he decided to take the exam again and, in his second attempt, significantly improved his rank to 670.
To pursue his goal, Satyam Kumar moved to Kota, Rajasthan, a renowned hub for IIT JEE coaching. Through relentless studying and hard work, he overcame the challenges posed by one of the toughest engineering entrance exams in the country.
After successfully clearing the IIT JEE, Satyam pursued a BTech-MTech dual degree in Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur, completing it in 2018. His academic journey didn’t stop there; at the age of 24, he ventured to the University of Texas at Austin for his Ph.D.
Satyam Kumar’s professional endeavors have taken him to Apple, where he is currently contributing as a Machine Learning Intern. His achievements serve as an inspiration to countless aspirants, showcasing the power of determination and hard work in overcoming challenges and reaching new heights in the field of engineering and technology.
