Suchita Oswal Jain joined the organization in 1990. Her father holds the prestigious title of Padma Bhushan awardee.

At the young age of 22, Suchita Oswal Jain entered her family business, where she currently holds the position of Vice President and Joint Managing Director at Vardhman Textiles, one of India’s leading textile firms. The company was founded by her grandfather, Rattan Chand Oswal, and her father, SP Oswal, who serves as the Chairman of the organization.

Upon joining the company, it primarily focused on producing yarns. However, under her father’s guidance, it diversified its operations to include fabric manufacturing. The company expanded significantly, increasing its looms from 64 to an impressive 1544.

Under the leadership of Suchita Oswal Jain, her company has emerged as a major player in the apparel fabrics industry in India. They cater to both domestic and international clients, employing approximately 30,000 individuals across their factories.

Moreover, she holds the position of a Member of the National Executive Committee of FICCI and is proud to have her two daughters actively involved in the family business.

Her association with the firm dates back to 1990, and her father, SP Oswal, is a recipient of the Padma Bhushan Award. From her early days, she used to visit her father’s manufacturing facilities, which inspired her to carry forward his vision for the company and society.

Being highly educated, she pursued an MBA from the esteemed London Business School and INSEAD Paris.

To further strengthen the company’s foothold, she established the first fabric manufacturing facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. Over time, she expanded the operations to include dying, processing, and printing units.

The company achieved a remarkable turnover of Rs 12,003 crore last year and has successfully supplied its products to renowned international brands such as GAP, Uniqlo, Marks & Spencer, Target, H&M, Kohl’s, and Calvin Klein, among others.
