She holds the prominent role of the primary investor on the reality show “Shark Tank India.” Utilizing her position on the show, Vineeta Singh has provided financial backing to numerous enterprises, leveraging Shark Tank India as a platform to support aspiring entrepreneurs.

Prior to launching SUGAR Cosmetics, Vineeta Singh had experienced the setback of two failed ventures. With a vision to address this gap, her initial target audience comprised of models, actresses, and women from affluent backgrounds. After conducting thorough market research, Vineeta took the bold step of establishing her own cosmetics company, “Sugar Cosmetics.” In the beginning, Sugar Cosmetics exclusively operated as an online platform, providing its products to customers through digital channels. Vineeta Singh’s education 

Between 1987 and 2001, Vineeta Singh pursued her education at Delhi Public School and Ram Krishna Purana in Delhi. In 2005, she earned her B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. As part of her academic journey, Vineeta also undertook a three-month summer internship at ITC Limited in Kolkata, during the month of May 2004.

In 2005, Vineeta Singh obtained an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad. As part of her educational journey, she undertook a three-month internship at Deutsche Bank, both in London and New York. During her internship, Vineeta worked on projects within the Strategic Equity Transactions unit in New York and the Emerging Markets Structures division in London, gaining valuable experience in the field.

During her early days, Vineeta Singh faced the challenge of residing in a small, cramped house in Mumbai, which was prone to flooding during the rainy season. However, her circumstances have since changed, and she now resides in a luxurious residence in Powai. Vineeta’s husband is Kaushik Mukherjee, whom she met and fell in love with while pursuing their MBA. They tied the knot in 2011.
