Before the important Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a 10-day trip to 12 states and union territories on Monday, March 4. He’ll attend 29 programs across the country to attract voters for the upcoming parliamentary polls.
Here’s PM Modi’s 10-day schedule:
- March 4: Modi will visit Telangana, unveil development projects in Adilabad, and address a public meeting. Then, he’ll go to Tamil Nadu’s Kalpakkam, visit Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited (BHAVINI), and speak in Chennai. Later, he’ll head to Hyderabad.
- March 5: He’ll be in Telangana’s Sangareddy, attending programs and inaugurating projects, followed by a visit to Odisha, where he’ll inaugurate projects in Chandikhole and Jajpur and address the public. Then, he’ll go to West Bengal.
- March 6: In West Bengal, he’ll inaugurate projects worth Rs. 15,400 crore, including Kolkata Metro’s Howrah Maidan-Esplanade section, and address a public meeting in Barasat. Later, he’ll visit Bihar for inauguration programs in Bettiah.
- March 7: Modi will visit Jammu and Kashmir, addressing a rally at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar, his first visit to the valley after Article 370 abrogation. Later, he’ll attend a media event in New Delhi.
- March 8: He’ll participate in the National Creator’s Award in Delhi and travel to Assam for development programs.
- March 9: In Arunachal Pradesh, he’ll inaugurate the Sela Tunnel and attend launch programs in Itanagar. Later, he’ll visit Assam to unveil Lachit Barphukan’s statue and lay the foundation stone for projects. He’ll then visit West Bengal for more projects in Siliguri.
- March 10: In Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh, he’ll attend programs.
- March 11: In Delhi, he’ll attend ‘Namo Drone Didi‘ and ‘Lakhpati Didi‘ programs, inaugurate the Dwarka Expressway section, and attend a DRDO event in the evening.
- March 12: He’ll visit Sabarmati in Gujarat and then head to Rajasthan, touring Pokhran in Jaisalmer district.
- March 13: In the last part of his visit, he’ll lay the foundation stone of three semiconductor projects in Gujarat and Assam through video conferencing, followed by an outreach program for disadvantaged sections of society.
PM Modi has been active, unveiling development projects worth lakhs of crores across the nation to highlight his government’s development and welfare agenda ahead of the general elections in April-May.
The BJP has also released its first list of 195 candidates for the parliamentary polls, featuring big names like PM Modi from Varanasi and Amit Shah from Gujarat’s Gandhinagar.
