During this time he honed his skills as a journalist and earned widespread recognition then he shifted to Mumbai and where he joined Sunday Observer as an editor from there he went on to work at The Daily as an editor. It was in the year 1992 when he bumped into Subash Chandra of Zee News on a flight, there in a casual discussion the idea o Aap ki Adalat was formed and then he soon became one of the leading anchors on television.
