Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Jammu on Tuesday and started many projects to help the area grow. These projects are worth ₹32,500 crore. He also began or laid the foundation for projects worth ₹13,500 crore in other parts of the country. When PM Modi arrived at Jammu airport, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Minister Jitendra Singh, and other important BJP leaders welcomed him.

Many people from all over Jammu and Kashmir came to the Maulana Azad Stadium for the event. PM Modi gave appointment letters to about 1,500 new government workers from Jammu and Kashmir. He also talked to people who benefit from various government schemes as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Jammu’ program.

PM Modi was happy to see over 45,000 children going to school for the first time, especially girls.

PM Modi said the people of Jammu and Kashmir seemed very happy and content. Their enthusiasm made him feel proud. He believed that whoever heard their conversations would feel encouraged and have more faith in the country. Talking about an upcoming movie on Article 370 featuring Yami Gautam, PM Modi said it’s good because it will give people the right information.

PM Modi also launched the first electric train in the Valley and a train service between Sangaldan and Baramulla stations.
