Andrew got his start in journalism at The Link, one of Canada’s largest and most respected student activist newspapers. He held the roles of News Editor, Assistant Editor, and Staff Reporter.
He was part of a masthead recognized for producing some of the most John H. McDonald Journalism Award-winning work in Canada in 2013.
2012: Radio Beginnings at CJAD 800
Andrew began his broadcasting career in 2012 with Newstalk CJAD 800 in Montreal, where he worked as a news anchor and reporter. He spent about five years building his craft in radio.
During this period, he covered major Quebec stories. These included the 2012 Maple Spring student protests, the Quebec City mosque shooting, and the Luka Magnotta murder trial.
2018: Move to Television with CityNews Montreal
