Chris Gailus Career
Chris Gailus began his TV news career in Lethbridge, Alberta, and later worked in Calgary at CFCN-TV and CICT-TV.
He then worked in the United States, including anchoring the morning news on WFAA-TV in Dallas and later joining WNYW in New York City as an anchor on Good Day New York.
Chris returned to Canada and joined Global BC (CHAN-TV) in Vancouver on May 1, 2006. He later became a weekday anchor, and he is now the co-anchor of Global News Hour at 6.
Along with Sophie Lui (co-anchor), he works closely with Kristi Gordon (Senior Meteorologist) and Squire Barnes (Sports Director and Anchor) on the Global News Hour at 6 team.
