Daintre Christensen Career

Daintre Christensen began her media career in radio. Global Edmonton’s biography says she worked at CISN Country 103.9 FM from 2003 to 2006.

After radio, she moved into traffic reporting from the Global 1 helicopter. She started doing Corus traffic reports live from Global 1 in 2006.

Her television career followed soon after her TV broadcast work started in the Global 1 helicopter, where she filed traffic reports for the Morning News, the Early News, and Corus radio.

She also covered breaking news events for The News Hour on Global Edmonton, reporting live from Global 1. Today, Christensen is best known as the traffic anchor and co-host for Global News Morning Edmonton. Along with the main anchors, she also worked on the same show with Britt Prendergast, who is the Weather Specialist on Global News Morning Edmonton.
