Gillian Anderson, known for her bold fashion choices, looked amazing at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. She wore a special ivory gown by Gabriela Hearst. What’s cool about the gown is the fancy stitching on it, which is inspired by a particular body part.

In an interview with Deadline, the 55-year-old star of S*x Education said she chose to wear the dress for many reasons, especially because it suits the event. Later, she told PEOPLE that she loved the flowery design of the dress, covered in peonies.

According to the brand, it took 3.5 hours to sew each pattern on the gown. They made sure every detail of the dress was just right for the fancy Golden Globes red carpet.

Anderson completed her bold look with Chopard jewelry, including a white gold necklace with a big yellow diamond.

But it’s not just about looking fancy—people also noticed Anderson’s hair. She let a few grey roots show in her blonde hair, styled in a soft wave. Her makeup was simple, with a bit of dark eyeshadow and pink lipstick.

The 55-year-old star of S*x Education has two upcoming projects: Scoop and The Salt Path. Scoop is about how the BBC got a big interview with Prince Andrew about his friendship with a person who did something very wrong. It’s directed by Philip Martin and written by Peter Moffat. Romola Garai and Rufus Sewell also star alongside Anderson.

On the other hand, The Salt Path is directed by Marianne Elliott, and it’s her first time directing a film. The story comes from a book by Raynor Winn, and Rebecca Lenkiewicz wrote the screenplay. Jason Isaacs is the lead actor in the movie.
