Last night, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were both at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. Taylor’s concert film got nominated for Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, and Selena got a nod for Best Female Actor in a TV Musical or Comedy for her role in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building. 

Even though they didn’t win, they had fun together. There’s a video of them gossiping during a break, just like real best friends do.

In the video that quickly spread on social media, Selena was seen at Taylor’s table with her arms around Taylor, sharing some exciting news. They looked surprised and nodded, confirming something. One person on X said, “That nod said a LOT,” and another said, “The gossip is very interesting.“

People shared a longer video on Instagram, and fans came up with different ideas about what they were talking about. One person thought they were planning to meet friends at In and Out Burger after the event. Another thought Taylor might be upset about a comment the host Jo Koy made about football and Taylor Swift. 

But many people thought they were talking about Kylie Jenner. Rumor has it that Kylie told Selena she couldn’t take a picture with Timothée Chalamet. A fan guessed, “Selena asked Timmy boy for a pic, and Kylie said no.“

Last year, Selena and Kylie had a problem after Kylie seemed to make fun of Selena on social media. It started when Selena posted a TikTok about her eyebrows, and later Kylie posted a picture of her eyebrows, suggesting Selena’s look was a mistake. The feud, known as eyebrow gate, caused drama between them.
