Hannah Thibedeau Career

Hannah Thibedeau worked in Canadian journalism for about 25 years, including around 15 years at CBC. She joined CBC in 2009. She first worked as a local reporter. She later became a producer for Politics with Don Newman. In 2012, she moved to CBC’s national bureau in Ottawa and focused on federal politics.
Along with Andrew Nichols, she co-hosted the program CBC Newsroom with Andrew Nichols and Hannah herself, with Nichols anchoring from Toronto and Thibedeau anchoring from Ottawa.
She also served as a National News Anchor on CBC News Live. In this role, she anchored breaking news and special live coverage.
During her years covering Parliament Hill, she reported on seven federal elections and on major national events.
