Virat Kohli did well in South Africa recently, and now he’s getting ready for the ongoing ICC World Test Championship. After being the top run-scorer for India in South Africa, everyone expects him to do great against England too.
Kohli, who used to be the captain, had a good time in the One Day International (ODI) World Cup last year and came back to the Indian team. He did well in the South Africa series, showing that he’s in good form again.
Irfan Pathan, who used to play for India, thinks Kohli is at his best and will do great in the upcoming series against England. Kohli scored 38 and 76 in the South Africa series and played a big part in India winning the Cape Town Test.

In the South Africa series, Kohli scored a total of 172 runs. He’s all set to play his 114th Test for India in the first match against England in Hyderabad. His recent good form is making Indian cricket fans happy. In the World Test Championship 2023-2025, Kohli played four Tests and scored 369 runs. Even though he’s not the top scorer in the championship, how well he plays is important for India.
