Abhishek Surana, an IAS officer, originates from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, and pursued electrical engineering at IIT Delhi. Following his graduation, he began his professional journey as an investment banker at Barclays Investment Bank in Singapore. Later, he relocated to London while continuing his employment with the same bank.

Subsequently, IAS officer Abhishek Surana ventured into entrepreneurship and established a mobile-based app start-up company, operating from Chile. However, during this period, he experienced a strong calling to appear in the UPSC exam and serve as an IAS officer. In 2014, Abhishek Surana made the decision to return to India and dedicated himself to the rigorous preparation required for the UPSC exam.

Abhishek Surana faced initial setbacks as he failed to crack the UPSC exam in his first two attempts. However, undeterred by the challenges, he persisted in pursuing his dream. Finally, in his third attempt, he succeeded in clearing the UPSC exam and secured the 250th rank. Building on his success, Abhishek Surana appeared for the UPSC exam once again and achieved an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 10 in his fourth attempt. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad in Jodhpur. His journey exemplifies perseverance and determination in the pursuit of his passion.
