His achievement is remarkable because he comes from a rural area in Bihar and is the son of a farmer from the state. He is now gearing up for the training to join the Indian Administrative Service.

Avinash Kumar demonstrated remarkable persistence in his pursuit of becoming an IAS officer, clearing the UPSC exam on his third attempt. Prior to this achievement, the UPSC topper from Bihar faced disappointment in two previous UPSC prelim exams. However, he persevered and overcame all obstacles, ultimately succeeding in clearing all the stages of the examination on his third attempt.

The aspiring IAS officer completed his schooling in Bihar and Jharkhand, achieving remarkable academic success. He obtained a perfect 10 CGPA in Class 10 and scored over 93 percent in Class 12. Continuing his educational journey, he enrolled in Jadavpur University in Kolkata to pursue engineering and graduated with an impressive 9.6 CGPA. These accomplishments reflect his dedication and commitment to excellence.

Previously, Avinash was employed in a power project based in West Bengal, where he worked diligently for a span of 11 months. However, his strong inclination towards the UPSC drew him towards a different path. Determined to fulfill his dream of joining the Civil Services, he made a courageous decision to leave his stable job behind and relocated to Delhi to dedicate himself entirely to the preparation for the exam. This bold step exemplifies his unwavering commitment and the extent to which he was willing to take risks in pursuit of his aspirations.
