Ranbir Kapoor’s latest release, “Animal,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is not only breaking box office records but also gaining attention for its strong supporting cast. Among the notable performances, Charu Shankar, who plays the role of Jyothi Singh, Ranvijay Singh Balbir’s (Ranbir Kapoor) mother, and Balbir Singh’s (Anil Kapoor) wife, has garnered praise for her impactful portrayal despite limited screen time.

One interesting aspect that might surprise viewers is the minimal age gap between Charu Shankar and Ranbir Kapoor. While they portray mother and son on-screen in “Animal,” Charu, at 42 years old, is only one year older than Ranbir, who is 41.
