The UPSC exam is tough for people who want to become IAS officers in India. To pass this exam, you need to study a lot and work hard for many hours. Every year, many people want to take the UPSC exam to become IAS, IFS, IPS, or IRS officers. But only a few managed to pass this difficult exam. Gaurav Kaushal not only passed the UPSC Civil Services Exam but also did well in the IIT-JEE and SSC CGL exams.

Gaurav Kaushal is from Haryana and finished school in Panchkula. He went to IIT Delhi at first but later decided to study B.Tech in Computer Science at BITS Pilani. After a year, he changed his mind again and completed his B.Tech degree from Punjab Engineering College.

In the 2012 UPSC Civil Services Exam, Gaurav Kaushal got the 38th All India Rank. After that, he joined the Indian Defence Estates Service (IDES) and took care of administrative duties in the Cantonment Board, managing military land. But after 12 years, he left his government job to help and guide people preparing for the UPSC exam.

Gaurav Kaushal also passed the Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) test and the JEE twice. Even though he could have taken good jobs, he decided not to, showing that he is willing to take risks.

After working in the civil services, Gaurav Kaushal started programs to help people prepare for the UPSC exam. He has a YouTube channel where he gives useful advice to UPSC candidates. He also created the Gaurav Kaushal app to mentor UPSC aspirants on a first-come, first-served basis.
