Kunal Kapoor once revealed in an interview their first encounter, saying, “We met at a fashion show, not at some theatre workshop as often rumored. It was actually Karan Johar’s fashion show, and she was there with her cousin Shweta Bachchan-Nanda. The interesting part is that I wasn’t supposed to be there, and neither was she. After walking the ramp for another show, I was about to leave when I bumped into Karan, who asked me to stay for his show. They say timing is everything.
