Nandita Sinha has been working in the e-commerce and FMCG sectors for more than 18 years. She started her career at Hindustan Unilever Limited and later worked for Britannia. She spent five years at HUL, starting as a summer trainee and leaving as a customer manager in 2009. At Britannia, she worked as a Product Manager and was responsible for media planning and communication. She also co-founded MyBabyCart.com, an e-commerce start-up.

She joined Flipkart in 2013. This company acquired Myntra. Flipkart was acquired by Walmart. Nandita Sinha remained with Flipkart for over 8 years. Here, as per her LinkedIn profile, she led the customer acquisition and growth function, helped build the Flipkart brand, and drove The Big Billion Days sale.

Her LinkedIn profile states that she played a key role in organizing Flipkart’s biggest shopping event, The Big Billion Days, which acted as a platform for sellers, brands, and customers in the e-commerce industry. She was also responsible for customer growth and retention by using various strategies such as merchandising, recommendations, incentives, gamification, and off-platform media including digital, performance, partnerships, and TV. Prior to becoming the CEO, she held the position of Vice President of Customer Growth, Media, and Engagement.

Nandita Sinha completed her B-Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU. Later, she completed her MBA in marketing and strategy from the well-known Faculty of Management Studies (FMS). She is from Lucknow and enjoys reading books, but little is known about her personal life.
