Nina Kothari, the chairperson of Kothari Sugars and Chemicals Limited and a business manager with crores, has earned a reputation in the corporate world. Her company engages in both domestic and international trade.

Nina Kothari, Mukesh Ambani’s sister, is relatively less known and avoids media attention. By birth, she is a member of the Ambani family and the daughter of Dhirubhai Ambani. She embarked on her entrepreneurial journey in 2003 by establishing the Javagreen coffee and food franchise.

In 1986, Nina Kothari married businessman Bhadrashyam Kothari. After battling cancer for some time, he passed away in 2015. Arjun Kothari, a son, and Nayantara Kothari, a daughter, were the only surviving children of Nina Kothari.

On April 8, 2015, Nina Kothari assumed the role of chairperson. She confronted the challenges of the corporate world and effectively managed the company. Her leadership propelled the company to new heights.

As the chairperson, Nina expanded the HC Kothari Group into additional sectors. Kothari Petrochemicals Limited and Kothari Safe Deposits Limited are two more companies within the Kothari Group’s portfolio. Based on corporate shareholdings, she holds two publicly traded stocks and possesses total assets valued at over Rs 52.4 crores. The company has a market capitalization of Rs 3.33 billion.
