Pratik Doshi serves as an Officer on Special Duty within the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
Pratik Doshi is a close aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He recently married Parkala Vangmayi, the daughter of Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. However, despite her mother’s connections with political leaders and VVIP guests, the wedding was a simple affair in Karnataka, with none of the prominent figures in attendance.
Pratik Doshi is an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). He holds the position of OSD, Research, and Strategy, and has been associated with the PMO since 2014.
Doshi hailed from Gujarat and was appointed Joint Secretary in June 2019.
He obtained his MBA degree from the Singapore Management School. During Narendra Modi’s tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Doshi worked as a research assistant at the Chief Minister’s Office. Pratik Doshi maintains a low profile and is not active on social media.

According to The Print, Doshi is referred to as the eyes and ears of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He plays a crucial role by providing inputs to PM Modi on appointments, and the files are approved by the Prime Minister after considering Doshi’s insights.
Parkala Vangmayi is a journalist and columnist.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Delhi University and completed her Master of Science in Journalism in the United States.
She specializes in writing on topics such as art, books, lifestyle, and technology.
