Ramlal, a young man from Rajasthan, faced many challenges but still managed to succeed in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022. This marked his incredible journey to become a doctor.

Even though he got married at a very young age, Ramlal didn’t let that stop him from focusing on his education. He cleared the NEET exam on his fifth try and is now the first doctor in his family.

When he was just 11 years old, Ramlal was married to a girl from a nearby village. Instead of conforming to society’s expectations, he decided to prioritize his studies.

Despite financial problems and resistance from his family, especially his father, Ramlal persevered in his education. His wife, who completed studies up to Class 10, supported and encouraged him in his academic journey.

Starting with a 74 percent score in Class 10, Ramlal chose the Science stream to take the first step toward his dream of becoming a doctor.

Despite facing challenges like child marriage and disapproval from his family, Ramlal first attempted the NEET exam in 2019 and scored 350 out of 720.

This accomplishment now opens doors for Ramlal to get admission to a reputable medical college.
