Nikesha Patel began her film career in India with the Telugu movie Puli, released in 2010. In the film, she played Madhumathi, along with Pawan Kalyan and Manoj Bajpayee, and it was directed by S. J. Suryah.
She then moved into Kannada cinema in 2012 with Narasimha, followed by Dakota Picture the same year.
