She is widely known as Parvathy. Thiruvothu mainly works in Malayalam and Tamil cinema.

Before acting, she was a TV anchor at Kiran TV.
Parvathy started acting with the Malayalam film Out of Syllabus (2006) with Arjun Sasi.
In 2008, she got attention alongside Srikanth for the Tamil film Poo.
