Parvathy Thiruvothu (born on 7 April 1988) is an Indian film actress, Bharatnatyam dancer, and founding member of the Women in Cinema Collective. 

She is widely known as Parvathy. Thiruvothu mainly works in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. 

Thiruvothu received a National Film Award (Special Mention) for Take Off. She has won 26 film awards for her terrific acting performance.

It is known that she is an outspoken advocate for gender equality.

Parvathy Thiruvothu was born in a legal family. 

It is known experiencing severe harassment as a child, including being hit on the chest by a stranger while with her father.

When she was in 7th grade, Thiruvothu experienced trauma during her first period, where she had to sit apart and was showered in turmeric.

During her school years, her family moved to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Before acting, she was a TV anchor at Kiran TV. 

Parvathy started acting with the Malayalam film Out of Syllabus (2006) with Arjun Sasi. 

In 2008, she got attention alongside Srikanth for the Tamil film Poo

Thiruvothu later acted in many Malayalam and Tamil films. Thiruvothu was cast in Bangalore Days (2014) with Dulquer Salmaan. 

In 2015, she was cast in Ennu Ninte Moideen with Prithviraj Sukumaran. 

In the same year, Thiruvothu starred in Charlie with Dulquer Salmaan, Aparna Gopinath, and Soubin Shahir.
