Rubika Liaquat was born on 18 April 1983 (Age: 41 years) in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Rubika is an Indian News Anchor and Journalist. Her popularity among the Indian audience can be credited to her excellent oratory skills and anchoring style. She’s worked for popular news channels, including Zee News and ABP News.

She was born in Udaipur and did her schooling at St. Gregorios Senior Secondary School, Udaipur. After completing her schooling, she shifted to Mumbai to complete her graduation. She joined the University of Mumbai and completed her graduation in Mass Media (Journalism). When she was doing her graduating, she also did an internship at Channel 24 in 2003. The internship was for three months.

Born to Amar Liyaquat and Fatima Liyaquat in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Rubika has one sibling named Anjum Liyaquat. Rubika belongs to a Muslim Family. On May 29, 2021, Rubika Liyaquat’s mother, who had a Ph.D. in environmental science and worked as a scientist, passed away in Udaipur, Rajasthan, due to COVID-19.

Rubika Liyaquat’s husband’s name is Naved Qureshi. She got married in 2012 and is also a journalist. The couple has three kids, two daughters and one son. The elder daughter is named Filza, and the son is named Ozil. The younger daughter’s name isn’t revealed yet.

Rubika Liyaquat Shows and Interviews

Rubika started off with her career in 2007 as a news anchor for the channel News 24. The following year, she went ahead with her special ‘Taal Thok key for the channel Zee news; here, she worked as a senior news anchor and editor. This is where her career boosted to new heights and she gained fame. 

This was also when she met Rohit Sardana, the famous Journalist from Aaj Tak and his personality influenced Liyaquat to a great extent. During her tenure there, she also met Sudhir Chaudhary, who’s a great inspiration to her.

After learning and gaining an experience from the channel, Rubika finally bid farewell to Zee news after 10 long years and moved ahead to join ABP News in 2018. 

Now she hosts the Prime Time show ‘Master Stroke’ at 9 PM, Monday to Friday on ABP news; credits be given, she’s a star now working with ABP. Master Stroke features big national, international, and research-based stories.

Liyaquat is now one of the few journalists that have hosted our honorable Prime Minister, Shree Narendra Modi.
