Shalini Pandey began her film career with the Telugu movie Arjun Reddy (2017), where she played Preethi opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Along with Vijay, the film also featured actors like Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi in supporting roles.
In 2018, she appeared in the Telugu film Mahanati in a supporting role. In 2019, she worked on several projects.
