Varalaxmi Sarathkumar started her film career with the Tamil movie Podaa Podi (2012), where she acted with Silambarasan TR and Shobana.
After her debut, she acted in films across multiple South Indian languages.
In Tamil cinema, she appeared in Tharai Thappattai (2016) with M. Sasikumar.
She later acted in Vikram Vedha (2017) alongside R. Madhavan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Shraddha Srinath.
She also acted in high-profile Tamil films like Sarkar (2018) with Keerthy Suresh.
In Telugu cinema, she worked in Veera Simha Reddy (2023) with Nandamuri Balakrishna and Shruti Haasan.
